Typography in the Internet of Things

In the future, more and more of our devices will mainly interact with each other and not with us as humans any more. Are interfaces and typography going to matter at all? Which challenges will appear in the IoT for type users? Is responsive typography enough for the future or does type need to be even more dynamic? We will have a look at which role typography plays in a massively connected world and why variable fonts can play a big role in reacting to diverse challenges.
