Pr Thierry Baccino is full-professor of Cognitive Psychology in Digital Technologies at the University of Paris VIII and scientific director of (EA 4004) located at the National Museum of Sciences and Techniques in Paris.
His research focus is mainly on reading and information seeking using both experimental methods (especially eye-tracking) and computational modeling techniques. His 2004 book “Digital Reading” summarizes the empirical and theoretical work from recent years. He recently developed the EFRP technique combining both Eye-Tracking and EEG techniques which extend to natural situations the use of EEG technique. He is leader or member of several National (ANR, CNRS,…) or European contracts (FP5, FP6, FP7, H2020).
