Bleuel
Chris Bleuel's main area of expertise lies in user experience design of digital systems in an increasingly complex world. He studied Communication Design under Prof. Erich Schöls and Prof. Carl Frech, both at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg and the University of Arts Berlin, focusing on interface and interaction design.
He held workshops and gave guest lectures on design theory in the study of Strategic Communication and Planning at the University of Arts Berlin. In cooperation with Sebastian Glaeser, Jan Peter Gillich, Matthias Wagler und Prof. Erich Schöls, he founded the Steinbeis Research Institute of Design and Systems in 2006.
After having worked as a concept developer and interface designer for the Intuity Media Lab in Stuttgart, he joined Simone Heissel and became head of interactive design at Fuenfwerken Design AG in Berlin for three years.
Since 2011, he is working as an independent Interaction Designer and, together with his co-founder Magdalena Cuber, established the digital expert network »functionalaesthetics«.
