Gerrit van Aaken has been building bridges between Print and Web for almost 15 years. While studying in Media Design at Hochschule Mainz, he quickly became the “Web Typography Guy” within the German-speaking blogosphere – with many popular posts on his weblog praegnanz.de. After ten years of freelancing, he recently became Co-CEO of whitespace GmbH, a small web agency in Würzburg with a focus on user-friendly and robust websites and web applications. His #webtypobuch from 2012 is one of the first comprehensive German publication on modern web typography.
