Hansje

Hansje van Halem (1978) runs her studio in Amsterdam since 2003. Her intricate typographic experiments research the tension between a systematic approach, legibility, and (ir)regularity. Her design-experiments sometimes also lead to commissioned applications for public space. Since 2017 Hansje is the head designer for Lowlands Festival.
