Rasmus Michaëlis and Torsten Lindsø are type designers based in Copenhagen and running Kontrapunkt’s Type Lab. They are in the business of designing bespoke brand typefaces and thus need to keep developing methods and techniques to work with and around the fundamental constraints of type design (tradition) in order to create distinct designs. Their many years of experience working with corporate visual identities are put to use when designing and developing custom type designs for large and small brands. Rasmus and Torsten are educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – School of Design where they also teach and host workshops of various kinds.
