Marlene’s focus as a web designer has always been digital reading. When she recognized the potential of variable fonts in 2016 she was fascinated and began to think about the possibilities and implications for the IoT. Her master’s thesis “From Responsive to Live – The Role of Typography in the Internet of Things” was finalized in 2017.
